We Are All In The Grove πŸ’š

Walnut Grove High School was proud to sponsor breakfast as principals and assistant principals from across the Walnut Grove Cluster came together to connect, collaborate, and plan for the school year ahead.

School leaders from Walnut Grove High, Youth Middle, Youth Elementary, Atha Road Elementary, and Walnut Grove Elementary discussed ways to strengthen our cluster community, create meaningful events, and build connections that support students, staff, and families throughout the year.

We’re excited for what’s ahead because We Are All In The Grove! πŸ’š

🌍✈️ This June, some of our Warrior students traveled across Europe with art teacher Mrs. Boyett for an unforgettable cultural experience!

From exploring the history of the Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie to reflecting on the powerful lessons of Dachau Concentration Camp, students experienced history in a way that textbooks simply can’t capture. They also traveled high into the Swiss Alps by cable car, visited the breathtaking Neuschwanstein Castle that inspired Walt Disney, explored the beautiful cities of Berlin, Prague, Munich, Lucerne, and even the tiny country of Liechtenstein, and sampled cuisines from across Europe.

Through every destination, students gained a deeper appreciation for different cultures, customs, and history while discovering both the joy and the exhaustion that come with travel. What an incredible opportunity to learn beyond the classroom!
