This is the season where I have to tell the world that I had the best DAD OF THEM ALL. If you know my story, you know. For those that don't. Here you go..
I grew up in SW Atl. Not the worst place on the world to grow up.. not the best either. But better than some. Many people that grew up in that era CAN totally resonate with being a latch-key-kid of sorts and the rigorous of experiencing the 90's crack era, drive by shootings, mass incarceration, and how it completely devastated our community. Although we survived it, we didn't emerge without the repercussions of such a deviating side affect. These images of this man before you Is the complete exception to all rules. I was raised by my father alone. Mom had other priorities. He did well! I celebrate him on this and everyday.
