Teach yourself what the little you never learned.

What do you need to forgive your mother/father for, but haven’t? What would help you?

I’ve declared at age 13 by faith that through me unhealthy limiting generational patterns within my bloodline are broken and a new pattern is birthed. But at age 19, I understood declaring it was not enough. I have to take action every single day of my life to align with that declaration, and trust that every relationship and circumstance in my life is meant to show me who I am being and where I can grow, for my good.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

But don’t be fooled, there is an ugly side to healing. It’s not always going to feel good. My declaration has come with seasons of frustration, deep weeping, unpleasant corrections, surrendering, uncomfortable self realizations and vulnerability. And it’s supposed to. It’s the unlearning and relearning of patterns. ⠀

If you are in the dark stage of your healing, don’t give up. It’s just a season. Learn what you need to learn so you can move on whole heartily. Better is coming. Keep fighting for your bloodline, for your legacy. Speak life over your life and keep standing in faith that everything you are currently experiencing is only helping you to create a new generational pattern. The one the little you needed. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
