Signature Design

I attended an extraordinary event in NYC at the Microscope Gallery. Our son, Joel Russell Huffman, curated a show of art installations generated using IBM’s quantum computers. Russell leads the education efforts at IBM Quantum, and has been mentoring students at The New School/Parsons School of Design and colleagues globally.
Just like the eye-opening experience we had as RISD students visiting MIT’s Media Lab in the 70s where many of the first computer technologies were being invented. I knew we were witnessing something revolutionary. The artists had that same wide-eyed excitement as they described their projects working with the unknown powers of quantum computing imagining the next generation of a digital revolution.
For me, it was that same feeling of being at the Dawn of a New Era.

Despite Covid-19, Ron and I remain busy designing new projects. We have the pleasure of watching our work be brought to life, including Ron's beautiful design for a Veterans Memorial planned for Cobb County.
