Georgia Pinball Repair
Bally World Cup Soccer is complete! and it turned out fantastic!!!!
This machine received our typical treatment from top to bottom. We installed all new posts and rubber throughout, upgraded the lighting with LEDs, and added a Color DMD (Display). It also received an NVRAM, eliminating the need for batteries and protecting the boards from ever seeing battery damage. A brand-new soccer ball was installed, the flippers were fully rebuilt for strong, consistent performance, and we added new leg bolts and levelers to finish it off properly. A new plastic set is also on its way to complete the restoration.
At Georgia Pinball Repair, we refurbish every machine with long-term reliability in mind, ensuring it plays great not just today, but for years to come.
Every detail was addressed to make sure this World Cup Soccer looks great, plays fast, and performs dependably. It’s ready for many more years of reliable play.
Thank you for choosing Georgia Pinball Repair. We appreciate the opportunity to bring this classic back to life.
We’ve included a video below so you can see the results for yourself. We hope you enjoy it!
Another one in the books.
Thanks for choosing Georgia Pinball Repair to get your game back into shape. This one got all new rubbers, LEDs, NVRAM, new posts, fully recapped boards, new sound ROMs, rebuilt flippers, rebuilt pop bumpers, plus new leg bolts and levelers. It also got a thorough top-to-bottom cleaning.
And the ramps on this one? Easily some of the dirtiest we’ve ever cleaned. It took some serious time and elbow grease, but they’re now clear, smooth, and playing fast like they should.
Another machine serviced, cleaned up, and ready for many more years of fun!

This is, without question, the roughest pinball machine we’ve ever taken on and that’s precisely why we’re here. This Eight Ball is getting a complete, restoration. We’re starting by building a brand-new cabinet from birch plywood. Stay tuned as we bring this machine back to life and share the progress every step of the way.

We just finished up this Gottlieb Magnetron. To be honest, we very rarely take on EM (Electro-Mechanical) games for clients, but we decided to make an exception for this one.
We did a full shop-out of the entire playfield including new posts, fresh rubbers, new post caps, and a total rebuild of the pop bumpers and flipper bats. But the real labor of love was the score reels. We took on the task of rebuilding and cleaning all 16 of them so they finally roll over and score properly without sticking. The chimes got new components as well. This was our first time doing a full score reel rebuild from top to bottom, and man, was it satisfying to see them clicking perfectly.
We genuinely enjoy every minute of repairing and restoring these machines, and we’re so thankful for the trust our customers put in us. We are actually months behind on posting our finished work, so keep an eye out for a lot more posts coming in the next few days!
Our company never cuts a corner. We’re always willing to go the extra mile because we want these games to be reliable for years to come, not just a few weeks. Plus, we’re proud to offer the most affordable pinball repair rates in Georgia.
If your game needs some love, please message or call us directly! Facebook notifications can be missed, and we want to make sure we don't miss you.

Always a great weekend when you can get away with the family and get some pinball time in. We spent the entire day yesterday at Game Galaxy in Smyrna, Tennessee, and it was a blast. Highly recommend checking them out!

Earthshaker is officially finished!
This one is extra special as it’s one of only around 200 Earthshaker sample games ever produced. What really sets it apart is the original earthquake institute mechanism, which actually sinks down into the playfield. Williams ended up removing that feature in later production runs due to cost, making these early versions incredibly rare.
Since this machine is part of the personal collection, it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. Absolutely thrilled with how it turned out! 🌎

We just finished restoring our customer’s Pinbot pinball machine, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! This project included a new MPU, new LED displays, new rubbers, new posts, and installing the fuse mods, which is recommended on this system. We also upgraded the game with LED bulbs and LED retro flashers to make the playfield brighter and easier to see. By switching from the original incandescent bulbs to LEDs, the customer won’t have to worry about the GI connector overheating or burning up again, which is a common issue on many Williams machines.
All the black paint was redone. We replaced the slingshot plastics, and completed a full pop bumper and flipper rebuild. We also installed cabinet protectors, new eject hole saucer baseplates, and made the legs look almost new by soaking them in Evapo-Rust, polishing them, and finishing with new leg levelers and leg bolts.
At Georgia Pinball Repair, we take pride in every restoration. Our goal on every machine is to bring them back to life and make them look, play, and feel even better than new.

More repair work this week! 🔧
One of our customers said his machine kept showing “Factory Settings Restored” when powered on and the machine wouldn't start. This is a very common sign that the batteries have died.
We went ahead and removed the batteries from both his Indiana Jones and Indianapolis 500 pinball machines, desoldered the 28-pin chip, added a new socket, and installed the NVRAM.
From our experience of repairing well over 100 pinball machines now, batteries are the #1 reason we see machines stop working. When they leak, the alkaline eats through the boards and can ruin it for good. That’s why we always remove the batteries and install NVRAM's instead. It’s a long-term solution and one less thing to worry about down the road.
Below is a picture of the batteries we pulled from his Indiana Jones that had already started leaking.
A lot of people ask why we don’t just replace the batteries. It’s a fair question. But pinball machines often change owners, and most folks don’t realize there are batteries tucked away in the backbox. Those forgotten batteries can quietly cause a lot of damage over time.
We finished the day off by putting a new power supply in a Data East Royal Rumble that was having power issues. Another good day keeping these classics running strong! 💪
