Gammon Theological Seminary
06/09/2026
Congratulations to our students, Thomas Kyles & Sasha Ellis, seminarians from The Florida Conference of The United Methodist Church, on being awarded the first scholarships from the Rev. Geraldine Mcclellan Endowed Scholarship Fund.
These two $5,000 scholarships reflect investment in calling, leadership & the future of the Church. Originally launched in 2022 through the vision of Bishop Ken Carter & fully funded in 2024 by Bishop Tom Berlin, this endowed scholarship continues a legacy of generosity that creates real opportunity for students pursuing theological education.
We also celebrate the spirit of community that made this moment possible, including the generosity that helped elevate the award into full $5,000 scholarships for both students.
At Gammon, scholarship support changes lives. It allows students to focus more deeply on formation, ministry & the work they are being called to do in the world.
Congratulations again to Thomas Kyles & Sasha Ellis. To God be the glory!

Your calling deserves space to grow.
At Gammon, theological education is more than academic preparation. It is formation that nurtures faith, deepens discernment & equips leaders to serve communities with courage, compassion & care. Here, students are challenged to think critically, engage faithfully & prepare for leadership that responds to the realities of the world with wisdom & prophetic imagination.
Whether your path leads to the pulpit, the classroom, community advocacy, chaplaincy or justice-centered ministry, Gammon creates space for you to explore your purpose in community with others who are also answering the call.
The next chapter of your journey may begin with a single step of faith, a question you cannot ignore or a deeper desire to serve.

To every donor, supporter & person who has poured into Gammon, THANK YOU.
Because of your generosity, so many students have been able to say yes to their calling, yes to theological education & yes to becoming the leaders their communities need. For many of us, Gammon is more than a seminary. It is a sacred space for growth, healing, questioning, learning & transformation.
There are still so many people searching for a place like this. People who want this kind of formation. People who need this kind of community. People praying for the opportunity to continue their education without financial barriers standing in the way.
Your giving changes lives in real time. It creates access. It sustains futures. It helps ensure that Gammon can continue forming thoughtful, justice-centered leaders for generations to come.
We are deeply grateful, & we humbly ask that you continue investing in this work.

Leadership is sacred. It is also demanding.
It asks you to pour out, to carry vision, to guide others through uncertainty while discerning your own next faithful step. In a world that feels unstable, the call on your life is still steady. What you may need now is space to listen, reflect & be renewed.
That’s what Gammon Gatherings is.
Gammon Gatherings is a virtual conversation series designed to help you discern your next faithful step in ministry & theological education. Led by Dr. Kylan Pew, each gathering offers honest dialogue, spiritual insight & practical next steps in a space that feels safe, thoughtful & grounded.
Today at 7 PM EST, we gather for one intentional hour to pause, reconnect with your call & consider how deeper formation might shape your leadership.
If you’ve been sensing that something more is stirring, this is a place to begin.
There is still time to register.
