Dear Tress Obsessed community,

Whether you’ve been rocking with us since our earliest days of 2019 or you just discovered us recently, thank you for being part of this journey.

What started as a vision rooted in representation, convenience, and care grew into something so much bigger than I ever imagined. For years, Tress Obsessed has existed to serve travelers of color—especially textured-haired women—who deserved to feel seen, prepared, and confident wherever their journeys took them. In spaces where our needs were often overlooked, we set out to create access, ease, and visibility.

Tress Obsessed was built with grit, faith, and a whole lot of heart. From vending machines and pop-ups to e-commerce, digital products, and community conversations, every step was fueled by lived experience and the belief that our hair, our culture, and our stories matter. What began as a small idea turned into a brand that connected with thousands, opened doors to new cities, sparked conversations, and created opportunities for others along the way.

Every product curated, every machine placed, every piece of content shared was done with intention and pride. Along this journey, we were supported by customers, collaborators, mentors, and partners who believed in the mission and believed in me—and for that, I am deeply grateful.

I believe in honoring seasons, cycles, and transitions. Growth doesn’t always mean expansion; sometimes it means release. With reverence for what has been built and gratitude for what has been learned, I want to share that Tress Obsessed will be closing its doors effective December 31, 2025.

This isn’t an ending rooted in regret—it’s one grounded in reflection, respect, and evolution. Thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and allowing Tress Obsessed to be a small part of your journey. The love poured into this brand will carry forward, always.
