Georgia just made history!
I had the honor of speaking at the Georgia State Capitol as House Resolution 1007 was passed making Georgia the first state in the nation to formally recognize the arts as a resource for mental health treatment.
This is the moment we’ve been building toward. As a performing artist, I’ve lived this truth. Through and , I’ve watched it transform lives. And now it’s on the record.
To everyone who has ever shared with me how my work helped you through something and for the artists and collaborators who have supported me in my healing journey this moment belongs to you too.
The arts heal. The state of Georgia agrees. And this is just the beginning.

I didn’t know what I wanted for my birthday this year but I got a clear message from the universe, “Go to LA”. The next day I received a text message from a dear friend asking me to come to LA. I booked a flight and I’m glad I did. Thank you for everyone who held me, celebrated me, fed me, laughed with me, sang and danced with me. I’m beyond grateful. The gift of the sunshine and the light you all shined on me was life affirming and made me feel so loved supported and blessed beyond measure. 🫶🏽🌴
