🗽✈️ This spring the Achievers, STEP-UP, and Bond Mentoring Groups explored New York City on an unforgettable exposure trip! 🌆🔥 From Times Square and the Brooklyn Museum to the Statue of Liberty and Staten Island, our scholars experienced the culture, energy, and opportunities NYC has to offer.

Students visited Eagle Academy and Port Richmond High School to learn from peers, gain new perspectives, and explore different educational environments. 🎓. They also served the community by teaching senior citizens how to use their technology devices, demonstrating leadership, patience, and service across generations. ❤️📱

This trip was about more than sightseeing — it was about leadership, growth, and expanding what’s possible beyond the classroom. 💼📚✨ Thank you to our mentors, parents, supporters, and community partners for making this experience unforgettable! 🙌🏾❤️

Drew community, do you see a few familiar faces in these photos? Drew's Senior Director of Athletics Kandice Mitchell and Boy's Varsity Basketball Coach and Assistant AD Kenyatta Bennett are representing Drew on the world stage this week! They were selected to participate in the International Sports Programming Initiative (ISPI) South Africa Basketball Exchange, along with YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta Sports Director Kenny Bellinger. They are having the experience of a lifetime and even had the opportunity to dine with US Embassy South Africa Consul General Stephanie Bunce!
