Ms. Tasneem Tazkiya is an Intalage teacher currently serving students in Georgia. Here is what she had to say about engaging with students in her classroom:

"Teaching in the US has given me the opportunity to learn about a new education system, adapt to different classroom dynamics, and embrace a more diverse and inclusive teaching environment. I have enjoyed incorporating my own cultural perspectives into my lessons, which has allowed me to build strong connections with my students and help them appreciate global viewpoints.

One of the most memorable parts of my journey has been participating in cultural exchange activities. I’ve had the chance to share my Indian culture through presentations, classroom activities, and special events such as International Night and cultural fairs. Students loved learning about Indian festivals, traditional attire, food, and language, and these experiences helped promote understanding, respect, and curiosity among them."
