Nope, not photoshopped. These are asperitas clouds captured in Gorham, New Hampshire this week!

📝 WEATHER NERD EXPLANATION: Asperitas clouds are often observed around the same time thunderstorms form. Scientists believe that turbulent air, similar to air found in storms and along weather fronts (where air masses clash and cause vertical motion and wind shear), is responsible for the formation of these ominous looking clouds.

Got 5mpg for the last 7 hrs of my trip going to ND...felt like I was riding a bull with a parachute attached to it...40mph headwind/crosswind with a beverage truck body on the back of my trailer...only took 349gals of diesel to get from High Point, NC to Fargo, ND.
