The Kula Fellowship supports the thriving of land & women through the lens of regenerative agriculture.

But what is regenerative agriculture?

It's an approach to farming that emphasizes long term soil health and productivity, organic and sustainable inputs, the responsible use of natural resources, and the interconnection of farms and farmer profitability. It is an evolution of conventional agriculture which recognizes the needs and opportunities to adapt how farming has been done in order to respond to the current state of our planet and its people.

Through 8 main objectives, our program focuses on practices that will nourish the land in the long term and yield better, more sustainable production results - thus, richer livelihoods for female farmers.

The last few months have been momentous. 🌿

Finalizing a program revision process that began over a year ago, our full team was all hands on deck researching, discussing and detailing key updates to both the training and inputs that we provide in our Fellowship. We couldn’t be more proud of and excited by the results: a revamped program curriculum for both coffee agronomy and household entrepreneurship, an updated 12 month program calendar, and new survey collection and data visualization tools. We’re thrilled with how these internal advancements set our team and our Fellows up for even greater success, and we’re wasting no time putting them in practice. Our new cohort was selected in June, and Fellowship commencement kicked off in the beginning of July!
