We spoke gratitude into the soil.
For holding us.
For receiving what once held life.

Then we returned it to her 🌱
Gently.
Intentionally.

No rushing.
No forgetting.

Just honor.
Just balance.

What nourished my baby
now nourishes the land.

This is how spirits stay rooted.

They wanted us to rush birth.
We waited. ✨

Because the cord was still pulsing.
Because baby was still receiving breath, blood, iron, life.

Nothing was forced.
Nothing was taken early.

Then we returned the placenta to the Earth 🌱
Back to the soil that holds memory.

Buried beneath a tree 🌳
Near a flowing river 🌊

So my child would be rooted.
So their life would know flow.
So their spirit would remember where it came from.

This is ***aEarth
This is ancestral birth.
This is womb wisdom remembered.

She arrived earth-side, still wrapped in magic—encaul, untouched, and sacred. A rare veil of life held her first breath, a cosmic welcome into the world.

Born of water, fire, and the stars—daughter of Sekhmet, Oshun, and Yemaya, Rashawn, and Elle. Born sacred. Born wild. Born free, cradled by the universe, held in light. Born unmedicated, uninterrupted, and held in water, she arrived as a sacred gift from the ancestors. Every heartbeat was honored—delayed cord clamping, caught by Dad, cord cut by Mom—a ritual of love, presence, and lineage. This was more than a birth; it was a cosmic ceremony, a gentle yet powerful entrance into the world, wrapped in ancestral wisdom, divine flow, and sacred trust. She arrived smiling at peace at 9lb 21” long.
