Beyond the Classroom

BTC is seeking an energetic coach who shares the vision of ensuring students are reading at or above grade level. As a literacy coach, you will play an integral part in supporting the literacy development of students and monitoring their progress. You will virtually connect with students during the given time on a video sharing platform and reinforce reading skills from a scripted mini-lesson provided. BTC desires a team player who has effective communication and engagement skills to facilitate a great learning environment.

What is your child's relationship with reading? Does it seem like they try to avoid it at all cost? Do they feel discouraged about reading aloud?

Well, reading confidence goes hand in hand with reading progress. Students who struggle with reading are often very reluctant to read. Today’s is all about easy ways to boost your child’s reading confidence!
