It is earth - it is clay. It is the starting point of everything that is beautiful in creation. Brown starts out muddled and humble in the ground, but is molded to become something astonishing.
Isaiah 64:8 says that “We are the clay, and the Lord our Father is the potter. We are all formed by his hand.”

LINEN is light and easy.
It is breathable, carefree, woven, and spun. In Matthew 11:30, Jesus asks a powerful question: “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out?”
His solution is like linen - “Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a rest… Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

As artists, it is easy to get caught up in the “noise” around us. We are visual people, captivated by the world. It is so natural to find ourselves moving from being inspired by the art around us, to being controlled by it.
