A little calm Atlanta landing spot for two very excited grandparents. 🤍

This home was designed as a retreat for quick visits with their new granddaughter, a place that feels special without feeling formal. We kept the palette largely neutral with moments of warmth and subtle color woven throughout. Soft textures, tailored lines, custom pieces and layered details make it feel polished but easy.

A curated gallery wall extends the storytelling in this subtle safari-themed nursery—combining family heirlooms with art and objects collected during the parents’ extended trip through Europe while expecting. Other pieces include a curled paper instrument from Portugal, an antique Dutch tile, Belgian lace, and original sketches and paintings.

This time of year always inspires a fresh start — closets get cleared, toys get sorted, and kids’ rooms finally get the reset they’ve needed since summer.

If you’re tackling a little home organization of your own, we shared some of our favorite kid-friendly storage tips with Parade Home & Garden in their new article, “17 Kids Room Organization Ideas That’ll Save Your Sanity.”

We love incorporating pieces that grow with your child, like woven baskets and flexible bins, using open shelving for easy access, and maximizing space with built-ins or lofted beds that keep everything within reach but beautifully contained. Thoughtful, simplified storage truly transforms the way a room functions — and how your family moves through it.
