Johnson STEM Activity Center and the Foundation will host The Innovators Table Gathering Spot Retreat, at intimate fundraising dinner and thought leadership experience featuring National Basketball Association (NBA) All-Star, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Jaylen Brown alongside renowned inventor, engineer, entrepreneur, and founder of the Johnson STEM Activity Center Dr. Lonnie Johnson.

The evening will bring together a highly curated audience of about 100 influential leaders from across business, technology, sports, philanthropy, government, and culture for cocktails, dinner and a featured fireside conversation. Themed The Innovator's Playbook: How Visionaries Engineer Impact, the discussion will explore innovation, ownership, resilience, leadership, artificial intelligence, and the power of unconventional thinking to shape the future.

A JSAC record! This year FIVE JSAC-sponsored FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) teams advanced to the Peachtree District Championship held at Mercer University this past weekend. Each year, JSAC has had multiple teams advance to state but five is a JSAC record.

One of the teams, G3 Robotics of Midtown High School (Henry W. Grady High School) has advanced to the World championship in Houston!

Congratulations to G3 Robotics, FIRST Team 1648, 100 Scholars Robotics Alliance, TeknoSquadRobotics #5219, Georgia Cyber Academy Champions #8577, and Neo Engineering League of America's Discbots #6023.

JSAC sponsors multiple robotics teams providing practice pits, a maker's space, computer lab, competition practice fields for robotics teams housed at and visiting JSAC, and additional support.
