Burke & Richmond County Residents, We Need Your Voice!

Georgia WAND Education Fund is working on an important project to learn how pollution and everyday conditions affect our health.

We’ve found some serious concerns:

People in our community are living shorter lives than before

Pollution in the air, water, and soil may be part of the problem

What is this project about?

We want to hear from YOU about:
Air and water quality
Noise and traffic
Access to healthcare, food, and safe housing

Why does this matter?

Your answers will help:
Find the biggest problems in our community
Create real solutions
Protect our families now and in the future

How can you help?
It’s easy!

Democracy was in the room 4/23/2026,Thursday night ✊🏾🗳️

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Civic Power Series: Gubernatorial Candidate Forum. It was a powerful evening of civic engagement where community members heard directly from candidates, asked important questions, and prepared to make informed choices at the ballot box.

A heartfelt thank you to Big Bethel AME Church for graciously hosting this important forum and continuing your legacy of faith, leadership, and community service.

We also appreciate our coalition partners, including National Council of Negro Women, for helping create spaces where our voices matter.

Through WE Count!, Georgia WAND remains committed to empowering voters and building community power every election season.

🗳️ Stay informed. Stay engaged. Vote.
