Hawai'i July 2023 🦋

Last year I spent ten days with for a regenerative agriculture workshop where the group learned about permaculture, indigenous farming practices, beekeeping, herbalism, and the power of fungi.

The education I received from my time there has watered the seeds of curiosity and experience already within me. I’m so excited to continue to nourish these and bring action to life from what I learned here.

This experience was incredibly special because it was an opportunity to visit a sacred place with respect and care. A lot of our time was spent volunteering by tending to the land and getting to know the community.
Hearing from community leaders indigenous to Hawai'i and the history of this culture was priceless and something I’ll treasure forever.

The trip also gave me a beautiful life long friend and many connections across the nation. These photos are not enough to capture the beauty of my time there, though it’s a fine place to start.

On August 3rd, I completed the six-session Metro Brokers Advantage training program. The past several weekends were spent soaking in knowledge from the extensive course material and experienced instructors.
Upon completion, I'm feeling empowered, confident, and set up for success!
