Speaking Counts

Today was definitely a win at CAU’s Mental Health Summit! I was truly surprised and encouraged by the number of students who showed up for my presentation on domestic violence.

They were engaged, attentive and eager to learn about the red flags in abusive relationships.

What meant the most to me was the number of students who approached me afterward to share their personal experiences. In that moment, I was reminded why this work matters.

I’m just grateful to know that I was able to impact someone’s life today. ☺️

I had the opportunity to pour into the next generation during Career Day at Stewart Middle School today. Before they left, each student received a reminder they can carry with them everywhere they go: You are amazing.

Because success starts with what you believe about yourself.
