Project Spotlight: Sonic Injection Success in West Central Florida!

Geo Lab’s remediation team recently wrapped up a successful 3-week Sonic injection project in West Central Florida, overcoming complex subsurface conditions with precision and expertise!

Due to site constraints, Sonic Technology was utilized to reach deep treatment depths where traditional DPT drilling wasn’t an option. The project site spanned an active shopping mall parking lot and extended into a residential neighborhood, requiring meticulous planning and ex*****on. GeoForm Extended Release, EHC Liquid, pH Buffers, Anaerobic Mix Water, and DHC Microbial Culture was used to target 235 treatment intervals over 47 locations. The reagents were applied using a high velocity, top-down injection approach to ensure effective distribution within the treatment zones. A huge shoutout to our skilled injection crew who navigated the technical complexities and ensured safety throughout the project, while completing all work ahead of schedule.

I was so surprised to receive the packets for all of our attenders this morning at the Post Office! Thank you for sending them out to us! The guys in particular mentioned that they thought the session about drilling with diamond bits was informative as well as the “Call Before you Dig”. One driller approached me about ordering a class/test that was mentioned in the flyers. They were quick to regather following breaks, and they all seemed very attentive to the topics being discussed—all in all they seemed to enjoy the day!
