I’m emotional as I write this. It’s a long one so if you care check it out. I battle this idea of posting the work the Holy Spirit is doing through us. Why? Because I hate how some spiritual “leaders” clout chase. No judgement.

It’s all about the hero shot at the end of the message. It’s all about people seeing the man but not the message. I hate that bro. That’s why often times I don’t even post, cause I don’t care about the glory of men, I care about the glory of God falling upon the men and women I serve. Genuinely.

But, my team has been on me about it because of the level of impact that God is creating through us and people finding out about it to help us & what I represent now in my position.

So I’m going be more intentional about taking these times to not “post for clout” but for me personally to have a moment of public reflection and gratitude to God for the great things He is doing and that we are doing by Him to advance the kingdom though our mission within the North 13th and it’s powerful neighborhood of believers.

We’re doing so much that I don’t really take time to reflect. And what is life without memory? But also what is history without documentation. I reflect on how, single mothers are being helped on the streets. Entrepreneurs are receiving assistance for their businesses. Displaced fathers are given provision to go back home to their children. Tears are being wiped from the faces of broken people with hope restored back in their hearts. Drug dealers are being removed from their reckless lifestyles. Stereotypes and narratives are being changed from under resourced communities.

How you ask? Because we have decided to follow Jesus. His way. We have decided to do the work He did. In the places He was. Not chasing stages bro. But going to the darkest deepest places where He would be if he was here today to carry his mission. To spread His love and His gospel until all have heard. And to love our neighbors as ourselves.

So I invite you to join our mission. To see our vision.
