🌍 The European Union's Artificial Intelligence Act could have a major impact on banking systems in the United States. 🌍
As the first legal framework for regulating AI, the Act classifies AI systems by risk level, banning certain high-risk uses and imposing strict regulations on others, including credit scoring and recruitment tools. U.S. banks using AI in the EU must comply, even without a physical presence there.
