Leading Local. Connecting Statewide. ⭐

One of the things that makes Leadership Georgia special is that the connections formed during the program don’t end at graduation. They continue through alumni who stay engaged, build relationships, and help strengthen our network across the state.

Today, we’re excited to introduce our Region One Rockstars, Eric and LaDonna Collins (Class of 2025)!

Region One includes Dade, Catoosa, Walker, Whitfield, Murray, Fannin, Gilmer, Pickens, Gordon, Chattooga, Floyd, Bartow, Polk, Haralson, and Paulding counties.

As Region Rockstars, Eric and LaDonna will help bring alumni together, encourage engagement, support regional gatherings, and serve as ambassadors for the Leadership Georgia experience throughout Northwest Georgia.

We’re grateful for their willingness to step into this leadership role and help keep our alumni network connected, engaged, and thriving.

Please join us in congratulating and thanking Eric and LaDonna for saying “yes” to serving their fellow alumni! 👏

✨ INTERN SPOTLIGHT ✨

Please join us in celebrating Cameron Cannon for the incredible impact he made during his spring internship with Leadership Georgia! 👏

Cameron supported our operations, programs, and communications efforts this semester, bringing professionalism, curiosity, and a true servant-leader spirit to every project he touched.

Currently a dual-degree engineering student at Clark Atlanta University studying Physics and Civil Engineering, Cameron also previously studied Civil Engineering and Energy Science at University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

His resume already reflects an inspiring commitment to leadership and community impact through experiences in public service, student government, environmental research, civic engagement, and innovative community-focused technology projects across Georgia.

From assisting behind the scenes to helping strengthen organizational systems and support our mission, Cameron’s contributions made a meaningful difference for our team this spring.

We are grateful for the time, talent, and leadership he shared with Leadership Georgia and look forward to cheering him on in all that’s ahead.

Help us thank Cameron for a fantastic semester below! ⬇️

The Class of 2026 is headed to The Classic City and Athens is ready. 🎓

In a community where innovation is a way of life, leaders are reimagining healthcare, strengthening workforce pipelines, fueling entrepreneurship, and building stronger communities through collaboration and creativity.

We’re excited to be guided by Program Chairs Philip Bernardi & Courtney Horton Bernardi (Class of 2023), who are bringing Innovative Leadership to life through this experience.

This program will challenge the class to think differently, ask better questions, and explore ideas that can be carried back to communities across Georgia.
