Interfaith Community Initiatives invited our interfaith friends to our first Sacred Spaces gathering of the year. We attended worship at Spirit and Truth Sanctuary, an interfaith church in Decatur, Georiga. The music was filled with chants and lyrics that spoke of unity, and the pastor, Bishop D. E. Paulk delivered a powerful message on the gospel of Inclusion. We thank the Spirit of Truth Sanctuary for their warm welcome and uplifting service.

We are back from a wonderful pilgrimage to Vietnam. It was World Pilgrim's smallest pilgrimage, but it had the same level of depth and intention. The eight people who traveled across Vietnam to five cities experienced deep connected, shared and learned amazing stories of a people's resilience and the resilence of our own lives. We experienced the Vietnam War through exhi bits, excursions, lectures, and through the eyes of a Vietnam Vet who was a part of our cohort. We meditated in Buddhist temples, experienced the Vietnamese religion of Cao Dao that combines Buddhism, Christianity and Confuscianism, we worshipped in a Catholic Church, atttended the Muslim service of Jumah and celebrated the beauty of nature. And we did what all World pilgrims do, eat good food, share great conversations, and celebrate our right to worship and honor life in our own unique ways. I think all on the trip will agree it was culturally rich and we were glad we were a part of such a vibrant and uplifting pilgrimage.
