At Black Dog, we understand the importance of attention to detail. We were doing incredible paint jobs, using stainless hardware, and paying attention to even the smallest details, but the hood latch pins were a problem. They would rust and degrade, causing issues. We decided to create a better pin, made from stainless steel with brass bushings (to prevent galling on the stainless) and yellow zinc chromate-plated cotter keys, all for less than the cost of a large pizza.

Finding someone to do the alignment on your humvee can be a daunting task. We have now made our alignment tool we use in our black dog shop available to the public. I made the first prototype 46 years ago with my granddad, and have used it ever since.

Hi guys if you recently purchased one of the newer factor turbo humvees these are the correct windsheild retainers you will need. The old style will not fit. We just produced another large run of them. They will fit m1151, m1152, m1165, m1167.
