This Week in Atlanta is a cumulative effort from the CCI team. Every week, we attend meetings for the City of Atlanta, Atlanta Public Schools, DeKalb and Fulton counties, and more — from general meetings to committee work sessions to public hearings. And then we report that information back in ways that actually makes sense. To support this work, go to civicatlanta.org/donate.

The City Council’s budget hearing didn’t make quorum last time, so there’s another one, and we’re showing up (with 🍕!)

Join us Monday, June 8 at City Hall for pizza and connection with folks who care about how the City spends our money. We’ll get to know each other, hear what everyone’s working on, and head into the hearing together.

Come for the pizza, stay for the public comment.

📅 June 8, 6PM pizza + discussion → 7PM hearing + public comment
📍Atlanta City Hall, 55 Trinity Ave

RSVP by Sunday, June 7 so we know how much pizza to order — link in bio or at ATLbudget.org.

If you can’t make it, you can email your comments or submit a 15 second video to [email protected].
