6,500+ websites. One platform. And a migration that couldn't afford to go wrong.

Here's how KHM Travel Group navigated WordPress at massive scale.

WordPress can handle enterprise traffic. But the platform alone doesn't get you there.

Architecture decisions, code discipline, caching strategy, and infrastructure design, that's where performance is won or lost.

Six clients. Six different challenges. One standard ↓

The pitch is always the same: one platform that handles everything.

CMS, analytics, CDP, marketing automation, DAM, all from one vendor, all under one contract.

It sounds like simplicity. But simplicity at procurement time can create complexity elsewhere.

Your marketing team can end up locked into tools they didn't choose, and paying for an entire suite when they needed a few.

Composable architecture works differently. Your CMS handles content. Your analytics tool handles measurement and so on.

Each layer is chosen for what it does best, not because it came bundled with the platform.

The result: marketing has greater influence over the tools they use. They can introduce new tools, replace what isn't working, and adopt new capabilities without a platform overhaul.

No single vendor owns your roadmap. No licensing bundle forces you to pay for what you don't use.

NextGear Capital, a Cox Automotive brand, needed more than a redesign. They needed to fix the foundation.

Page builder debt. Fragmented content. Broken analytics.

Here's how rtCamp helped them solve all three, and what changed after. 👇

If marketers are struggling with your CMS, the real problem is often simple: It wasn't built for them.

The architecture and workflows were designed around developer priorities. But the people publishing content every day were barely part of the conversation.

They learn workarounds. They memorize which template does what. They accept that launching a landing page requires developer involvement.

Eventually, the workarounds become the workflow.

This is what happens when editorial experience is treated as a training problem instead of a design requirement.

The fix isn't more onboarding or better documentation.

It's involving content teams early, before workflows are defined, before blocks are built, and before permissions are configured.

When editors help shape the CMS, publishing becomes faster, adoption improves, and far fewer publishing requests become "dev tickets."
