We’re pleased to welcome Mark DoorenBos II to the Southern Lighting Source team!

With more than 10 years of experience as a field service technician for lighting control systems, Mark brings extensive industry knowledge and a strong interest in emerging technologies and how they interact in the field.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys working on cars and spending time with fellow automotive enthusiasts.

We’re glad to have him on board!

For Jon, life outside of work is all about family, community, and the moments that bring people together.

Whether he’s coaching baseball and basketball, fishing, collecting baseball cards with his son, or leading his church small group, he values connection in everything he does.

He also brings a big personality to the Southern Lighting Source team. From being a direct descendant of both the Hatfields and McCoys to starting the tradition of the Kentucky Derby Party, his stories are always memorable. His love for horse racing even inspired his son’s name, Keene, after Keeneland Race Track in Kentucky 🐎

Last week, the Southern Lighting Source team attended the 2026 IIDA Georgia Best of the Best Awards at the iconic Delta Flight Museum ✨

We were thrilled to celebrate alongside the PRAXIS3 team as Mercedes-Benz of South Atlanta received the Shop – Best of Retail award. It was a privilege to support this standout project with LSI Industries and see the impact that thoughtful design and lighting can make together.

It was an unforgettable evening honoring the people and projects pushing design forward.

Today, we celebrate the mothers who do it all.
