Job description

We are an Allow wheel repair and re-manufacturing company looking for a wheel painter for our Chamblee, GA location.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience and work without supervision, to prepp, paint, ALLOY WHEELS. The candidate will have a helper and expected to produce 20~30 wheels a day.

Qualifications
5 years experience painting alloy wheels and/or running refinishing department.

Successful candidate needs to able to:
- Prepp, paint, color match, tint, tape and clear alloy wheel according to company standards.
- CNC machining, Powder Coating and Polishing will be a BIG PLUS!

Requirements:

- 5 year experience as tire tech.

- Good organizational skills

- Be able to use tire changing machine, tire balancing machine, identify lift points to put cars on floor jacks safely.

- Must have good organizational skills to prioritize work and organize tire department.

Responsibilities:

- Dismounting and remounting wheels on the cars.

- Balance Tires

- Remount/ Dismount tires from wheels including reverse mount of low profile tires WITHOUT SCRATCHING the wheels.

- Must be able to use torque wrenches to secure and torque wheels on cars properly.

- Must be mechanically inclined and knows how to use hand tools and power tools as needed.

- Read and transfer information on work tickets to the wheels

- Update Front Office on completed jobs.

- Move cars between the shop and parking lot.
