This Black History Month we want to celebrate Black women who have made and are making their mark in the travel space! To kick things off, we are highlighting ✨Martinique Lewis ✨ (a.k.a. Marty San Diego)

She is an award-winning diversity in travel consultant and President of the Black Travel Alliance.

Her book,“The ABC Travel Greenbook”, connects travelers to the African Diaspora Globally in places you’d least expect to see people of color.

She’s also starred in the 2023 National Geographic movie, “Black Travel Across America”, that documents her journey to visit historically listed Green Book locations and modern Black travel destinations.

GGG would like to remind you that as we enter this new month of November, this an opportunity to start fresh!

Relieve yourself of all the things you weren’t able to “accomplish” last month and start this month with the mindset that you can do anything you set your mind to.

However, also remember to embrace everything that comes along on this journey! From the wise words of Harry Wrinklier, “I live by two words. Tenacity and gratitude. Tenacity gets me where I want to go and gratitude doesn’t allow me to be angry along the way.”
