Mo' music!

I have watched the fabric of our country's democracy grow increasingly fragile over the last few years. This song is meant to serve as a musical refuge from the helplessness so many feel as we watch this unfold.
"It came from an ancient place, where a spark once grew into a roar
A choir of begging saints, sang out their tale from the shore
Of how they once summoned the seas to cast a blanket over the fury and
dance them to ease, oh that music only just now found its way to me,
The falcons cried sea to sea, but the message sank to the dark floor
It lay still for centuries, with a longing for the shore, Until the blue whale heard the whispered warnings, resounded the story, and set course to land, Now we grow quiet, as we listen closely hand in hand
Here we stand with naked hearts, retreating lands we played our part, and through this song we gift the sight of teachings past to bring to light
It came from an ancient place, an echo rebounding the cries
Please save us we’ve from grace, we ask just a glimpse for the blind"
