Early voting begins tomorrow in Georgia. Here in Hall County, we have multiple locations and convenient hours to get that vote in early and in person! Don’t put it off! I used to be a vote on Election Day kind of person- until someone requested a mail in ballot for me (I didn’t request it). That scared me enough to not give the frauds a chance to steal my vote. GEMA/HS has activated a new Special Event in response to the Rockdale County Chemical Plant Fire. EPD, EPA and our team are currently assessing the situation- EPD leadership is currently in the State Operations Center.

We are working to ensure the safety of the public and contain any potential hazards. Investigations are underway to determine air quality levels and if there are any risks associated with it. At this time, if you are in any areas that contain the smoke and chemical smell in the air, we recommend using precaution by staying inside.
