I had the best time yesterday connecting with the community at the 12th Annual Gwinnett Multicultural Festival & County Government Open House, hosted in partnership with the Gwinnett Police Department.

As the founder of , community is at the heart of everything I do, so it was incredibly meaningful to share our initiatives and programs with so many amazing people. Opportunities like this truly reflect our mission to empower growth and inspire change through meaningful partnerships.

Today, I proudly served as the keynote speaker for the inaugural Literacy Festival hosted by the South Fulton Teen Advisory Board and Arrows Youth Leadership Council International! 📚

With this year’s powerful theme, “Words Can Take You Anywhere,” I was honored to pour into the next generation of leaders—reminding them that literacy is more than reading and writing; it’s the foundation for confidence, opportunity, and impact.

A lot can change in a year—and it certainly has for my dear friend and colleague, Akbar Ali. Last April, we attended Sine Die and wrapped up the 2025 legislative session together in State Representative Sam Parks’ office. This year, we began the 2026 Legislative Session in HIS!
