Guys, I need your help! My friend/sister Tori and her babies have experienced a tragic home fire which resulted in them losing EVERYTHING. You can watch the video below. It’s not easy for me to share but at this point I can’t allow my pride or fear of vulnerability to prevent me from getting the help we need. Our house caught on fire right after the new year, fortunately we were all up because as soon as we ran out of the door, the fire consumed the house… my plan was to run back in to grab things that couldn’t be replaced but I thank God daily that I didn’t because the moment I was going to run back in the room, you hear pieces of the ceiling falling in that same room about 1 second later in the video. We lost clothes, shoes, jewelry, art, toys, film equipment, my plants… but even worse we lost the things that can’t be replaced like my family ancestry book that took years to compile and I was the keeper of, pictures, my kids baby books, family heirlooms. My dad left me this house. My dad and my grandpa passed away 6months apart about 2 years ago and they were both veterans so most of their awards, medals, and military memorabilia has been lost also. We survived which is the most important but we are on a new journey now to rebuilding and putting our lives back together. The stress has been overwhelming, I started bleeding/hemorrhaging the night of the fire and it hasn’t stopped since. I know all of this has taken a toll on my mental as well as physical, so at this point I leave it to God to continue to move through people to help us during this time.
