Yesterday afternoon, our team gathered to watch the Colombia vs. Switzerland World Cup match, proudly wearing our scarves from the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
campaign. We came together to cheer, celebrate, and connect through the shared excitement of the beautiful game. What started as a watch party became something even more meaningful, a chance to celebrate our heritage, share traditions, and build connections across cultures.

Soccer has a unique way of bringing people together. It sparks conversations, creates lasting memories, and reminds us that our different backgrounds are what make our teams stronger. Yesterday, we celebrated more than a match; we celebrated community, belonging, and the joy of coming together as one team.

Today, we remember Laica, a loyal companion who spent 11 years watching over Lee's Mill and everyone who worked there.

What began with her arrival as a pregnant stray in 2015 turned into a lifetime of love, protection, and friendship. She never wandered far, always choosing to stay where she felt she belonged. Whether riding in construction equipment, napping on machinery, or greeting the crew each day, Laica became part of the family.

She brought joy, comfort, and unwavering loyalty to everyone who knew her. While we will miss her deeply, her legacy lives on through the puppies she left behind and the countless memories she gave us.

Thank you for 11 unforgettable years, Laica. You will always be in our hearts. ❤️🐾
