Today is , and I’m looking back at this photo that says everything about how far we’ve come.

​The top picture shows my great aunt and grandmother, a folk duo in the 1940s called The Craig Sisters. When I once asked my grandmother why she stopped playing music in 1945, she didn't skip a beat: "Well, I had kids. There’s no way I could do both!"

​Fast forward to today: Ana and I have five children between the two of us. While the juggle is real and often difficult, it’s no longer impossible to fulfill our musical dreams.

​The biggest difference? Community. We aren't doing this alone. We are able to "do it all" because we have the incredible support of our families and friends who step in, cheer us on, and hold down the fort so we can share our music with the world.

​Happy Women’s Day! Let’s keep progressing, supporting one another, and breaking those "either/or" cycles. 🤍✨

It’s always a dream come true with you, . We really still can’t believe it. You guys surprised us. Thank you for packing the house with love and crazy good energy. Gah. It meant everything to share our music with you.
