Last nights special gift was night of worship. We do not know where these families are in their faith journey, but we share ours daily and show them Gods love and presence is there. Even in their darkest days that they may have lived already. Or are still to come. God is good. ALL the time.

Lighthouse Family Retreat day 2 and 3 because whoa have we been busy...
it gives new meaning to Philippians 4:13 "l can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" 🤣 🥰

Days of REST and JOY
2 anomalies in the life of a family living through childhood cancer...
FLIP FLOP time is when we love on the kiddos for 2 hours while their parents receive ministry and bonding time with other families living the same hardships. We do this daily while we are here... it's a next level exhaustion but hearts are happy 😊 💕
And last night....
UNbirthday.
It’s not just a novelty from alice in wonderland 😊
Once diagnosis is received, many Of these families are ripped apart for special milestones like birthdays, spending special days in hospitals. At for one night, we try and make up for all those missed moments… as best we can. The lighthouse way. 🥳🎉 and the reality is, every day is a precious gift and we are not guaranteed tomorrow....
it’s everyone’s birthday for one night! 🍕 and 🍭 🍨 overload while their parents get a much needed date night. This year Our assigned family is a single mama....
we gave her a little break! Many of these parents haven’t been away from their child or had a break since diagnosis. We treat them to a night out while we have a dance party. Sweet big sis A won the limbo contest and was rewarded with the coveted 🥧 in the hosts face... she got him good! ❤️ 😂

Lighthouse Family Retreat 2025 Day 1/2 I'll start by giving a huge hug of gratitude 🥰 to all of you that donated to help us serve these very deserving families living through childhood cancer. 🎗️ Now that we have arrived and met our designated family, I can now share with you this years photos so you can see where your dollars are revealing their purpose. Link is still live! Please help! Lighthouse has to turn away many families every year because we just don't have the budget to take everyone! Your generosity helps us be the hands of feet of heavens blessings on these kiddos!

Love has no boundaries and requires no compromise. Kindness has no cost.
And regardless of what your adversities and circumstances, time is a commodity you choose to give.
The word FAMILY doesn’t have to include DNA. Purpose can connect. A hand or hug can save the world. I love these people.
