Earth Tomorrow Houston invites rising 10th to 12th-grade students to apply for their week-long immersive residential experience. Participants spend the week on a college campus with field trips to surrounding areas, including a one-night campout.

Past summer institutes have included leadership development, a college and green career fair, environmental education, outdoor activities & more!

Earth Tomorrow Houston is now accepting applications for environmentally-focused Texas college students for the Earth Tomorrow Summer Institute Peer Mentor Program.

Peer mentors serve as role models and support for staff for the week-long residential experience for high schoolers.

📅 Required Dates:
Peer mentors attend an orientation from June 13-15, 20025, and the Summer Institute from June 15-20, 2025.

Would you like to make a difference in shaping youth leadership and education opportunities in climate, biodiversity, and environmental justice? If so, the 2025 NWF Education & Engagement Youth Advisory Council (YAC) wants to hear from you!

➡️ We’re looking for 14 young climate and environmental leaders from across the U.S. (ages 18-28 at the time of application) to join us for a five-month, fully remote service period.

Earth Tomorrow Atlanta had a great time at the booth at the RayDay sustainability fair in Serenbe, Georgia. 🐓🌈🎠

There were over 60 eco-booths, lots of delicious free food, a petting zoo, rides, and more!

A huge thanks to Earth Tomorrow student Ashley and alumnus Robert for volunteering the entire day. 🫶🏼

Our Houston Peer Mentors spent two days learning about each other and the Earth Tomorrow Summer Institute ahead of this week’s program. We are excited to include amongst our young professionals 4 alumni who participated in NWF education programming. They’re all ready to bring their lived experience and education to helping participants understand environmental justice.
