FYI, the Black Lives Matter Memorial Fence and its collection, is not associated with Black Lives Matter Global Netwok Foundation. It does NOT know we exist, so the tRolls can go somewhere else, to dump their comments.
July 13, 2023 is the 10 years anniversary of the Black Lives Matter movement.
It went from a pariah and slur, from its inception in 2013, to become THE largest social justice movement in 2020, with 67% of people supporting the movement to 51% today. In 2023, support has plummeted.
Putting aside the mismanagement of the funds raised, and the coordinated right wing assault - on ANYTHING Black - how has the Black Lives Matter movement impacted you personally!?

It's funnee how something comes to be. This day, I wanted to go into D.C. but was very tired and was moving very slowly and possibly wouldn't have made it but asked me to get his banner, left near SCOTUS, when he was leaving, for his trip back home to Minnesota, so I gathered myself up and drove in. Ended up, I missed him. By the time, I got there, it was threatening to rain. I setup Wander Too and set off to get the banner. Shortly after it did start raining.
I sheltered under a couple trees, a couple times, over the afternoon and evening, but didn't feel like unloading Wander Too, to head home, so I stuck around and kept dancing/protesting SCOTUS. After a short thunderstorm, a photographer (learned he is Damon Winter, New York Times) showed up, and was photographing the Supreme Court Building. He eventually reached my way, and now I see - I got to truly represent for Derek and others, in the LGBTQIA+ community - who are under attack, from all sides.
Then, I'm not a newspapers reader but people like are and she saw this powerful image, and forwarded it to me. Thank you for always having my back. {{{HUGZ}}}
