Like the internet before it, AI systems need shared standards to work together. Tushar Krishna’s team and collaborators have released Chakra, a new set of tools developed through MLCommons to help make that possible.

Using Georgia Tech’s AI Makerspace as a real-world testbed, the effort brings together academia and industry (including NVIDIA, AMD, Meta, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Keysight Technologies) to make AI systems easier to analyze, compare, and improve.

Great conversations at the Spring 2026 ECE Advisory Board meeting, from a new faculty perspective panel to student insights from the Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP) Program and Opportunity Research Scholars (ORS), alongside strategic discussions on the future of the School. Grateful to our Advisory Board members for their time, insight, and continued partnership in shaping what’s next for ECE.
