Wildlife Safety Tip (or un-tip in this case)!

Did you know you can buy caps to replace the sharp spikes on top of wrought iron fences? Those decorative points might look fancy but they can cause serious injuries to wildlife like owls, hawks, and deer trying to perch, or pass through. Deer frequently become impaled when jumping these fences. It’s a heartbreaking and preventable accident.

You can find protective fence caps online or at most hardware stores (Amazon, Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc.). They pop right on and instantly make your fence safer without changing the look too much!

A simple fix that can prevent a lot of pain for both wildlife and your heart. 💚
