Like people, homes are interesting when they surprise you with something unexpected, balanced against the comfort of predictability.

The roof lines subtly point toward the entry, a sheltered space between two balanced, though not identical, forms. From the approach, this home welcomes us with an easy demeanor; its asymmetry reflects back to us the beauty in our unique mix of traits.

There are nuances in the way materials work together, the way light enters and moves in a room, the way the lines above define the spaces below.
