The Hideaway lost a great friend last week. We share our thoughts and prayers with Chris’s family and our friends over at Oscars Atlanta
Rest in Power Dear Friend.

Oscar’s has lost one of its original family members. Chris McDonald left this earth on March 3rd. He truly meant a lot to our family and will be deeply missed. We invite you to please stop by the bar on Saturday, March 21st from 1pm to 3pm for our celebration of life and to say your final goodbyes.

The Hideaway lost a great friend this week. Russell Kowalski passed away peacefully Sunday December 14 after a lengthy illness. Our prayers go out to Russell’s family during this difficult time.
Soar high with the angels dear friend.

The Hideaway is so sad to hear of the passing of our long time friend Ray Collins. Ray was a pillar of the Atlanta Gay community for as long as we can remember. A gentle, giving soul.
Our prayers are with his mother Betty, husband Alan and the Heretic Family.
Fly high with the Angels our dear Friend.

Yesterday, I lost the Love of my Life.

Ray Collins suffered a heart attack on Thursday and passed away Saturday, at Emory St Joseph's Hospital, with his mother Betty Shores and I, by his side.

Betty and I will be making arrangements over the next couple days and will post.

Ray hated having his picture taken, but if anyone has any, we'd greatly appreciate you sending.

Thank you

Alan Collins

So today we bid farewell to our The Hideaway friend Ian Lowry. I know that heaven is a little more fun with him being there. Vodka Tonics all around.
We hold his family in our hearts and in our prayers.
May the angels greet you with a smile and may you always know how much you were loved.
