Had so much fun at this event in June!

The historical Venetian Room served as the perfect location for our June date night event. And our design team did an incredible job transforming the space into a black and gold glamorous dinner space.

Not even half of the gorgeous swag I took home . Pretty much a bag full of candy/crack for people with a paper problem. The best things I brought home though were new connections and friendships with some stupidly talented boss ladies and business ideas and inspiration from all the amazing speakers. Before , I was doing A LOT but feeling like I wasn't actually doing anything well. I changed the name of two of my printers on my computer to Boo Boo Kitty and Hi**er and made plans to have an Office Space style beat down on one printer that died. I was burned out, frustrated, alone, exhausted, and not loving what used to make me so happy. I'm not saying things have magically changed since I returned but I know now that's THAT'S OKAY. I learned so much between my awesome breakout group, unexpectedly delightful conversations between sessions, and happy/sad/ugly crying (I'm looking at you and ) through some insightful, wonderful, and just plain useful speeches. Now I've started making positive changes that are going to make my business, life, products, and client experience better. It's going to be a slow process but I now have this amazing community of women to support me, hold me accountable, and just GET. IT. I'm probably still going to take a bat to my dead printer (because honestly, why not) but now it will be for fun and with a bottle of bubbles in one hand.
