Mythical Motors return (have they ever left?) with another huge batch of pop delights fresh out of the garage and right into our earholes. “This Is What The Twilight Zone Was Preparing Us For” is out 9/20. The Chattanooga band- led by Robert Pollard disciple Matt Addison- channels Guided by Voices and a host of lo-fi psychedelic and power pop heroes into 22 hook-driven mini sci-fi masterpieces.

Todd Tobias of GBV fame lends his mastering expertise to the band's 12th overall album, which is also their second on Fall Break- following the decade encompassing compendium, Selections from the Psychic's Museum which was released in 2016.
