Some of the deepest hits land from the corner you trusted most.

The hardest punch Joseph ever took didn't come from an enemy. It came from his own brothers' hands, the very people who should have protected him.

Sold into slavery. Falsely accused. Forgotten in a prison cell for years. And yet, standing before the very men who threw the first punch, he said:

β€œYou intended to harm me, but God intended it for good" (Genesis 50:20).

That's not a quick forgiveness, that's years of wrestling that led him there, and years of God quietly turning a pit and a prison into a palace.

John 3:16 doesn't say God felt love. It says He gave. He acted. He demonstrated.

Out of the heart flows the motive β€” and out of the motive flows the action. That's how you know what's really in someone's heart. Not by their words. By what they do.

So ask yourself today, what is my love actually doing?

Is it sitting in your chest warm and comfortable, or is it moving toward people, toward sacrifice, toward something bigger than yourself?

God set the standard at the cross. Love gave everything.πŸ™πŸΎ

Elijah was broken and convinced he was the last faithful one standing.

God's response? "I have reserved seven thousand in Israel." β€” 1 Kings 19:18

SEVEN THOUSAND! And he couldn't see a single one from inside his cave.

That's what isolation does. It narrows your vision until all you can see is your own pain, your own silence, your own four walls. And it rewrites the story β€” it tells you that nobody else is struggling, nobody else is still believing, nobody else understands.

But beloved β€” there are β€œSEVEN THOUSAND” πŸ’›

They're in your city. They're in this community. They're on the other side of a conversation you haven't had yet.

Send this to someone who has been your "seven thousand" during a difficult season?

Real greatness flows through surrender, not strategy!

Humility as a theological position therefore says:

πŸ‘‰ God's way is better than mine.
πŸ‘‰ God's timing is better than mine.
πŸ‘‰ God's story is bigger than my role in it.

James and John wanted the seats. Jesus offered them the cup. He didn't reject their desire for greatness. He just showed them what greatness actually costs. πŸ”₯

Elijah had run away. He was burnt out, hiding, done. He asked God to take his life.

God's FIRST response? He sent an angel to feed him. TWICE. He addressed the exhaustion before He renewed the assignment.

So if you've been waiting until you're "worthy enough" to return.

Stop waiting. He's already crouched beside you in the wilderness with bread in His hand saying:

"You need strength for the journey ahead."

The journey is too great for you to go on empty!
