Late last year, a free camp for testing bone density was organized at the Meher Free Dispensary. The test was conducted by a team from Zandu, one of the leading Ayurvedic pharmaceutical companies in India. 100 MFD patients over the age of 40 years old were tested. Calcium supplements were prescribed for the patients whose bone density was below normal.

Meher Free Dispensary continues to provide free medical services to its patients. Medical Services provided include medical examinations, diagnostic tests in our in-house laboratory, medicines, dressings and injections, referrals of patients recommended by our doctors for specialized consultations and diagnostic tests costs all of which are fully compensated to the patient, referrals of patients requiring hospitalization and surgery for which they are partly or fully compensated depending upon the individual circumstances of each patient. In addition, special clinics are held for diabetic and epileptic patients.
