Hot Jam

At Hot Jam, Atlanta’s Monday night swing dance, you can learn to dance and be part of a warm, welcoming community!

✨ 7:00 PM – Foundations of Jazz
Kick off the evening with a free solo movement class open to everyone! We’ll stretch, warm up, and explore some classic jazz steps to get your body moving.

✨ 7:30 PM – Three Levels of Classes. There’s something for everyone:

Fresh to Swing – Brand new to swing dancing? Start here! Learn the fundamentals with no experience or partner needed. Just show up—our instructors will guide you every step of the way.

Fundamentals Series: Charleston – Learn a classic and high-energy swing style! Some basic experience with swing dancing is helpful. This is a progressive series so it’s best to start on the first Monday of August.

Expression Series: California Routine – Ready for a challenge? This choreography-based class dives into the iconic California Routine, a fun and dynamic sequence for more experienced dancers.

💡 No partner required! We rotate throughout all classes so everyone gets to dance and learn together!

🎶 After class, stick around for our social dance with DJed swing music until 10:30 PM. Practice what you learned and enjoy the good vibes!
