The thing is, I wouldn’t want to wish these days away either.

My name is Anna, I am from my heart, and I am grateful for my growing understanding of self love & for the people who love me just as I am.

in honor and I making something QUITE COOL together last week, I thought it was appropriate to share something we made earlier this year together, with the exquisite makeup help from —& I’m quite proud of this thing.

on the day we took these photos, I performed a self-choreographed dance piece for ’s fundraiser & took the chance to tell about a personal, star-crossed love story. though with a mask and mime, I was protected from the vulnerability of expressing something personal.

In reflecting on the past year, I thought to myself “what the hell have I done this year?” & I won’t try to explain here, but I will mention I’ve become a lot more honest day to day and taken quite a few masks off.

Though I love my masks of performance, (they help guide myself and the audience to closer connection to story…) it’s pretty cool to reflect on how much I’ve landed more into myself as the year has gone by.

still proud of the woman in these photos. she’s pretty damn brave & pretty damn beautiful in her attempt to open her heart. so, so, endlessly proud.
